IT & Security Compliance Analyst Role Description

The eStruxture IT & Security Compliance Analyst is a hybrid, intermediate role responsible for server and employee systems support as well as security compliance and audit activities. The role’s objective is to ensure that we are following industry best practices around IT systems deployment and management and supporting and strengthening our security compliance programs.

Skills/Experience Required

Corporate IT

  • Hands-on experience and proficiency with Windows based operating systems including desktop/PC and server systems
  • Operation and support of hypervisors such as VMware
  • New user provisioning/setup
  • Administration of cloud solutions such as Gmail suite
  • Asset management including rigorous record keeping, assignment and physical asset tagging
  • Basic networking such as IP addressing and switching
  • Anti-virus/malware systems support
  • Troubleshooting of common IT issues such as break-fix, user credentials management, software installations etc
  • Documentation of as-builts, architecture diagrams and configuration parameters
  • Patching
  • Backups administration
  • User education and documentation

Security & Compliance

  • Internal audit activities regularly validating our day to day practices and documentation supporting our controls and policies
  • Security audit experience including SOC 1, 2, PCI, ISO 27001 frameworks
  • Oversee employee onboarding activities including policy review and sign-off, security awareness training, systems access rights etc
  • Vulnerability tracking
  • Experience in working with auditors and customer security teams
  • Card access system and surveillance systems ownership
  • Coordinate internal recurring security committee meetings
  • Pursue and resolve remediation items
