Al is responsible for eStruxture’s sales and marketing functions, driving top-line revenue growth across all products and services. He has over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, product management, category management, and finance in the telecom and energy fields.
Al has spent time at Rogers Communications and Just Energy, and most recently he was VP of Sales and Marketing Communications at Enercare. At Enercare, he expanded the sales team nationally and rolled out a national IoT product suite called Smarter Home. He held several progressive roles at Rogers including running the National Retail Sales team, and he was responsible for negotiating and launching the very first iPhones available in Canada. At Just Energy, Al opened new markets in the UK, Ireland, and Germany, and even got to ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange in 2017.
Recognized for his Go-To-Market expertise, Al has spoken at several conferences on the retail energy market and the consumer wireless category. He also spent eight years (the longest term allowed) on the board of the Daily Bread Food Bank, holding the role of chair from 2016 to 2018.
Al earned his MBA from the Schulich School of Business. He lives in Toronto with his wife and two teenage children, and he enjoys playing softball and coaching youth baseball.
