Marie-Josée Lapierre is the Senior Vice-President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of eStruxture. She has more than 20 years of business law experience, including mergers and acquisitions, financing, corporate governance and commercial law.
Prior to joining eStruxture, Mrs. Lapierre was Vice-President, Legal Affairs and Secretary of Investissement Québec, where she was in charge of legal matters, including documenting loans and investments, governance and regulatory affairs, and contracts. Previously, as Director, Legal Affairs and Secretary of Yellow Pages, she was responsible for corporate governance, securities law compliance, mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions and commercial law matters. She started her career in private practice at BCF LLP.
Mrs. Lapierre holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Université de Montréal and an MBA from McGill University. She has been named Lexpert Rising Stars Leading Lawyers Under 40 and YBAM Lawyer of the Year (in-house practice) by the Young Bar Association of Montreal. She currently resides in Montreal with her husband and their two children.
