Building the Data Economy, Supporting Your Neighbourhood.
The eStruxture Promise
The Industrial Revolution was built on the factory floor. Today, our world is moving away from old industries toward an economy driven by data.
This is the data economy. At eStruxture, we’re building the foundation for this new era right here in Canada.
We believe in being a principled builder. That means more than cashing in on the latest technology gold rush. It means being a responsible neighbour that builds for future generations – our grandkids, and their grandkids.
We know that each time a new data centre is announced that communities have questions. We are committed to transparency, sustainability, and ensuring that our growth fuels growth in our host communities, and for all Canadians.
What is a Data Centre and
Why Does It Matter to You?
You might not know it, but most people interact with data centres every single day. That’s because data centres provide the physical home for the internet, the cloud, and generative AI tools.
In short, they make the ‘everyday miracles’ of modern life possible. And as those miracles get more impressive and complex, they usually need more data centres.
Here are some examples:
- Your Finances: When you use your phone to check your bank balance, send an e-transfer, or check your insurance policy, that data is processed instantly and securely in a data centre.
- Your Entertainment: Every time you stream your favourite series on Netflix, listen to a playlist on Spotify, or play an online game with friends, it’s all made possible by a data centre. We ensure that there’s no unexpected cliffhangers in the middle of movie night.
- Your Work: If you’ve ever worked remotely, you’ve used a data centre. Shared workspaces, online storage for your files, group chats, Zoom calls, and even your email inbox are all made possible by data centres.

Why it matters:
When we open a data centre, it supports investment, job growth, public services, and data sovereignty in your community:
- Investment: Just like railways, power plants, and public transit, building a data centre attracts others – from AI innovators to financial firms. That’s because many companies who use data centres like to set up shop closeby.
- Job Growth: Once a data centre opens and begins attracting investment, it creates a tech hub. That creates a secondary wave of job openings from companies who are data centre customers.
- Public Services: Data centres and the customers they attract all pay taxes that improve the quality of life in their host communities. Because our facilities require very little from public services (like schools or emergency response services), that tax money is freed up to invest in things like housing, community centres, and health care.
- Sovereign by Design: eStruxture is proud to be a 100% Canadian company. By building these data centres right here in Canada, we ensure that your personal information is kept safe, local, and governed by Canadian laws.
Community FAQ: Your Concerns, Our Solutions
We believe our facilities should be seen, not heard, because nobody likes a noisy neighbour.
The Commitment: Our data centres are quiet-by-design. We use advanced sound-attenuation technology and strategic architectural design to ensure our noise levels stay well below municipal bylaws. We aim to be the quietest neighbour on the block.
Water is a precious resource. Unlike other data centre providers, we don’t believe in wasting it.
Our Commitment: eStruxture is a global leader in water conservation. We utilize closed-loop, air, and liquid cooling systems that use zero public water for cooling. In short, we make sure that public water supply is preserved for our host communities.
Just like factories, roads, or airports, a data centre is a multi-year economic engine:
- Hiring Local Businesses: Building big data centres takes years – and a great deal of work. When eStruxture builds, we partner with local contractors, electricians, HVAC specialists, and suppliers. We make it a priority to hire local businesses, pouring millions into the local economy and creating good jobs from day one.
- Quality Careers: Once a data centre opens for business, it creates permanent, high-paying roles. eStruxture offers competitive wages, long-term career growth, and a work hard, play hard culture where employees treat each other like family.

Open Doors, Open Conversation
We don’t believe in "closed-door" development. If you have questions, we want to answer them.
- Community Engagement: We try our best to be proactive and have eStruxture’s team attend local Town Halls, open houses, or other community events to answer your questions. We want to be part of the conversation and ensure you have all the facts.
- Site Tours: We invite community leaders and residents to tour our flagship facilities to see firsthand how our everyday miracles work.
Our Land Acknowledgement
We respect and acknowledge the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples of Canada, and we recognize that our data centres and offices are located on the traditional territories of many diverse nations:
- Montreal: We acknowledge that our operations are situated on the traditional unceded territory of many nations, including the Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk) and the Anishinaabeg (Algonquin).
- Toronto: We acknowledge the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples. This land is covered by Treaty 13 and the Williams Treaties.
- Calgary: We acknowledge the traditional territory of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai), the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda. This land is covered by Treaty 7.
- Vancouver: We acknowledge the traditional unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
Our Commitment
At eStruxture, we understand that a land acknowledgement must be meaningful and go beyond simple spoken words. We also acknowledge that climate change disproportionately affects Indigenous people.
As we continue to grow, it is our intention to build lasting partnerships that respect Indigenous peoples' inherent kinship beliefs regarding the land. We invite our partners and clients to join us in recognizing the history of these territories and fighting for the protection of the natural world we all share.
